I have an odd issue with the new Cisco modem i got when i upgraded to Extreme service last week. When i go into the router config on it, and click the DHCP client table button, the whole modem power cycles and reboots itself! Anyone else had this issue???

@Fookaroo:

is the power cycling and rebooting happening only when you access the dhcp client table?  Sounds wierd!

I would begin by getting another unit as yours seems to have a significant internal problem.  If another Cisco modem behaves identically, itwould look like a bug in the firmware.

THere have been a lot of people who have reported that it does.. myself included..

I think its a bug with the current custom firmware.

When i called tech support about it last night, was told to bring the modem to any Rogers store to have it replaced.  If this is happening to a lot of people, I may just put up with it for now as I just got it all working nicely with my wireless repeater I have in the house and don't want to go through all that again LOL.

I thought the same thing.. could go swap it.. but there seems to be a fair amount of others noticing the same thing.. could take the time to swap it (there is not one in my town, so its out of the way), re set it up, and have the other do the same thing.
