How do I set up my Rogers Yahoo so that when I receive an e-mail message I hear an audible alert, and or, a visual alert of some kind? 

Also, when I have my inbox visible, or when I have my homepage visible, I don't get any indication that I'm receiving an e-mail, unless I refresh, or close out Internet Explorer and then open it up again.  Wazzzupp!!!

the rogers yahoo webmail doesnt have that feature, i dont believe any webmail (gmail, hotmail etc) has a feature in which you get a audible alert. If you keep your internet explorer open on your rogers yahoo email inbox it will every few mins update itself and check for new email and the only alert you get is a bold new unread email in your inbox, no other pop up alert and no sound alert.

It can be done because my sister has it but I am trying myself to do it.

what browser is she using? Its not a setting in the webmail itself that does it.

But its possible that its a plugin or something for firefox or chrome that is doing the notification.
