Slower speed affecting online games??

Hello, i was thinking about down grading to the slower internet speed and usauge package.  I currently have rogers express package and would lie to know if i get the slow rogers lite package will it effect my online gaming?? haven't been tracking my usauge but i am pretty sure that I am not going over 20 gb.

I wouldn't recommend going lower then express internet for online gaming. Unless you're a fan of lag.

between extreme and express I have no better online gaming. it now sucks to play online most of the time

I'm on lite.  When the latency was low (the latency should still be good in most places) the gaming was fine.  When you get throttled though that destroys the game and it doesn't matter what 'product' you have.  My reccomendation is for EVERYONE to downgrade their product to LITE so that ROGERS has to deal with the throttling issue at some point.  Why pay ~$70/month for a product that has little value?  LITE at least lets you still browse the net -- even though you have to watch your usage like a hawk.  Oh, and don't forget that the generous ALLOWANCE is now only 15GB from the 25GB it used to be in order that you may be upsold to a higher tier.
