My Curve 8900 no longer syncs with my Rogers Yahoo Calendar.
It had been working just fine.
Address, Task and Notes sync without a problem.
Messages displays that it is reading calendar and then does nothing and moves onto tasks.
BB Device software is 5.0.0.822 - I have wiped and reloaded.
Desktop Verson 6 - I have uninstalled and reinstalled
Service books re-sent.
Deleted all other email accounts from device except default account.

Hi woodvale and welcome to the forums,
I am not sure if you are referring to syncing with Yahoo calendar or with outlook
Yahoo syncing is not something I am very familiar with as it is not something Rogers supports but here are a few basic things that may fix your issue:
-Restart your PC
-Remove and re-insert your Blackberry battery
-Delete your intellisync folder:
*Note: Make sure Show all Hidden Folder is selected or the Appdata folder will not appear (Tools->Folder Options->View Tab->Show Hidden Folders)*
Windows 7:
C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Intellisync
XP & Vista:
C:\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\AppData\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Intellisync
-Delete your service books:
Using desktop manager 6, go to Device->Delete Data->Select Specific Data
Select service books and delete them
-Resend your service books:
-Configure your default calendar:
Go to Options->Advanced Options->Default Services:
Make sure that your yahoo address is set as default calendar
-Configure the sync settings with the desktop manager
-Sync
If the problem persists, you may need to create a new MAPI profile and try syncing with that, corrupted MAPIs can be a pain.

Hi woodvale,
I have rarely seen those steps fail to resolve a sync issue in the past. If you did follow all those steps and it does not work what we are left with is either some step I am unaware of (due to us not supporting Yahoo sync), an issue with your PC or and issue with your Yahoo account.
Another step you can try is to backup your device, wipe the device calendar:
Desktop Manager->Device Options->Delete Data->Select Specific Data, select Calendar All and delete.
Then, delete the intellisync folder as explained in my above post
Reset your device
Reconfigure the sync
Sync
Did you install anything new on your PC since this started? Try disabling any anti-virus.
If the problem persists you would need to either ask Yahoo or Blackberry. You may get an answer on the blackberry forums at http://www.blackberryforums.com/. Keep us updated if you find a solution.

I down graded DM to 5.0 and BB8900 to 4.6
Tried on 3 different PC running 7, Vista and XP
Wiped Device.
Spent far too much time on this.
FINAL SOLUTION:
Migrated everything to gmail,
Abandoned Rogers email and calendar clients.
and everything is running smoothing,
including a wireless calendar and contact BB to Gmail.
Do I put the Rogers software in the blue bin or the grey bin??

That must have taken you a while. You have definitely covered all your bases and then some. That tells me the issues is coming directly from the Yahoo calendar and it's compatibility with the desktop manager.
I will mention this to the appropriate department. I am not sure how far it will go as syncing with yahoo is not something we support.
Thanks for sharing what sounds like a massive headache of different procedures.

I believe the issue is with Yahoo. I went through hoops trying to get it to work with my BOLD 9000. Bottom line is that yahoo stopped supporting intellisync. My solution was to setup a google sync. It seems to be the only solution for non outlook mail usersthat I know of.
