On my iPhone, how do I set up my Visual Voicemail?

1. Tap Voicemail. The first time you tap Voicemail, iPhone prompts you to create a voicemail password and record your voicemail greeting. Use any 4-10 digit password that only you will know.   

2. Tap Save                                                                                      

3. Re-enter password and tap Save again              

Record a new voicemail greeting:      

1. Tap Voicemail and tap Greeting. Then tap Custom.                                                                                             

2. Tap Record and say your greeting.                                                                                                                   

3. When you finish, tap Stop. To listen to your greeting, tap Play.                                                                         

4. When you're satisfied, tap Save. 

Set up Visual Voicemail by calling the Voicemail system:  

1. From home screen tap Phone                                                                                                                                 

2. Tap Keypad                                                                                                                                                       

3. Tap and hold the 1 key                                                                                                                                   

4. Follow prompts to set up personal password and greeting

Is Visual Voice Mail a different product from Voice Mail?
Can an iphone function with regular VM?

An iPhone can without the Visal VM - but your truly missing out!
It is deffenilty worth it.

I have a 3G - VVM doesn't seem to work on my phone.  I get the notification on the lower VM icon but can't access on the screen VVM, I need to dial in to pick up messages.  Can you help ??

First you need to know if you have the feature.
Log in to you My Rogers -
Once your logged in click on the Wireless section. (Under the Manage your Services)
Then choose the phone number the iPhone is connected to.

If you have it you would see it under My Add-ons.
It would  be called - $20 iPhone Visual Voicemail Value Pack

 Hi,

I'm new to Rogers and have a brand new iPhone4. My Visual Voicemail works like a charm in English and I love it!!.

However I am bilingual (French/English) and my callers are also about 50/50 in each language.

At present the system does not recognize my French voicemails.

Is there a way to enable both languages?
