1.  Why does the alarm still go off when taking a call, BB was smart enough to silence the alarm?

2. Same as above with ringtone, can the iPhone not just beep when call incoming and on phone?

3. Can the voicemail password be automated after a pause like on BB?

Nice platform, not as business minded as BB but will get used to it.  Miss keyboard and LED flash, but most seem to be minor issues getting used to different methodology.

Oh and hate being restricted to iTunes to do anything, BB allowed drag and drop into folders to add music, pics, vids, etc.  Oh well.

By alarm.. i am assuming you mean notifications? (email, etc?)

I have not noticed mine ever beeping through when on the phone.. and i have all notifications on.

When i get another call.. it does a double beep (call waiting) but doesnt play a tone, when i am on the phone.

The only time i now i do get a sound.. i get the new email notification sound, etc, if im playing music (at least when on bluetooth) that it will quiet the music slightly, play the tone, then back to normal.

That i KNOW of.. i dont think you can program the pause and password.

Depending on your plan.. (and how much different $ it would be), the visual voice mail is nice.. never have to put in my password ever

By Alarm I mean when using the phone as an alarm clock.  

Mine plays the ring tone in my ear, earpiece, or on SYNC in the middle of already occurring call when call waiting comes in.  Not just a typical beeping.  Quite annoying.
