I bought an Android phone not long ago upgrading from the iPhone 4, however I'd like to go back to using my iPhone 4. How do I request a new SIM card? And what is the cost in doing so?

You go into a Rogers plus or any athorized Rogers store ( or any third party cellphone store.)  & buy a Rogers Iphone 4 sim card. It will cost you about $11 with taxes.

Then you call rogers from where ever you are & tell them you bought a new simcard & then they will activate it once you give them the number from the simcard.

You can also activate the new sim on the my rogers website under manage devices I believe.. I know you can do it just don't remember which section...

How would this work if someone were to get an iPhone 5 (when it's released :smileyvery-happy:) from MTS with the intent to activate on Rogers?  Could I just buy a new micro-SIM from Rogers, activate it online, slip it in the iPhone5 and go to town?  For what it's worth, I currently have a Rogers iPhone 3Gs, but my husband used my upgrade, so I'm not eligible again until 2013.

@PixelMAC, I have no clue what MTS is but if the phone is locked then no dice. You can buy iPhones from Apple that are unlocked then you can get a microsim from any company and put it in. I did this with great success when I went to the UK.

@Meowmix I thought they would cost more than that. $11 isn't bad at all.

I thought it'd be 25 dollars to get a new sim card?

Nope. It's $9.99 +tax. So roughly around $11. I know some store reps that lie and try to say it's $25 bucks but once I said I would call the BBB they told me it's $9.99. Even the Rogers Site sells it for $9.99 + tax. Some people try to lie and steal for money. Don't fall for it.
