try going into settings, general, network and see if cellular data is turned on or off

i have a suggestion!!!

take the screen of and REPLACE Cable 7 

i had the same problem but i changed cable 7 and it now works fine!!!

if you dont know how to ge a professional to do it!!!!!

How about the user just takes the phone into Apple & see if they can do something if in warranty?

If it does not have warranty then that is the risk someone will have to take. Remember sometimes opening the phone even with a professional can ruin it by accident by changing the cable or replacing it.
