Just updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 5.1 and Caller ID name display seems to be working. The name came up with an extra "@" at the end but that could be an issue with my VoIP provider (where I called from). Hoping Rogers will credit me for months I paid for feature that never worked on 4S until now...

Why should rogers credit you? Rogers was transmitting the name display all this time, it was always on your line and was active.  your Apple device was preventing you from receiving it untill they released a fix.   Maybe you should convince Apple to credit you instead of rogers.  Rogers did nothing to fix it, apple did the fix.  Did apple even advertize the 4S had Name display? if not, then it would be very hard getting any compensation from them.  hope this helps.

Would love some insight from Rogers (or Apple?) as to why certain CID Names end with an "@" symbol on my iPhone 4S iOS 5.1.

This is new behavior as it didn't do this on my iPhone 4.

Any iPhone 4 iOS 5.1 users seeing the same thing?

I've read about other iPhone 4S users seeing it.

Its related to the baseband on the iPhone 4S.

Revisiting this thread as I hope that the baseband & iOS 6 support Caller ID Name Display right from the start.  Hoping we don't have to wait months for an update for this feature to work on the iPhone 5.

Anyone with an iPhone 4S running iOS6, can you confirm if CID Name Display still works?
