@tobes....Rooting..... ilegal? It's NOT ilegal... It MIGHT, void your warranty... But that's not even too likely, since for the carrier to know that you rooted your phone, you would be making the assumption that they have knowledgeable employees? Ha, I say... Ha!

LMAO! I didn't mean legal in the literal sense. I meant I shouldn't HAVE to go in and mess around with my phone's OS. That I should be able to count on my carrier to keep me current without getting on my knees and begging....now I'm waiting for the punctuation/grammar police :smileytongue: ....
SAY WHAT??!!??

Personally, I blame the auto correct for my illegal sMelling. :-D
No one, SHOULD have to & "optimize" their own phones!
It's a sad indictment of the Human Condition, when the carriers, leave us to our own devices :-D (yea, that's a pun if I ever made one)

One of the things that I find most bizarre... Is that manufacturers are Still introducing new models with old o/s?

I blame auto correct for everything but I am adept at typeonese now lol. I agree and can't for the life of me figure out the method to their madness....unless of course it's a study in the annoyance level of humans and monopolies! Yes! That must be it....oooooo and did I say monopoly? BTW nice play on words lol

Not at rogers... But XDA & Rootzwiki have some info! Leading to speculation that the end is nigh :-D
The "end" being Samsung's release of the ICS update for the sgh - i727!
But, you DIDN'T hear it here first.... ;-)
