Got the phone for 5 days now.  The phone cell phone self rebooted countless times.  Did a factory reset, and I think the self reboot increased.

Anyone having this issue?

Hey,

I had the same problem when i got it. I figured out that it only had the issue when i was on wifi and the phone not plugged in. Very strange but true. I got a replacement and the same thing so i got a galaxy. Not thrilled about it but not sure what else to do. Are you still having problems? I'd love to go back to the razr if they can fix it somehow.

Still doing it.  Called it in and they are sending a replacement.  Not sure if the 2nd one will do the same.  Such a slick phone.  Hopefully it's cuz I got a lemon.  Sigh.

I just don't understand why there are so many raves and excellent reviews.  Wouldn't this reboot issue come up when they're testing/reviewing the phone?  Maybe they got the good batch?

Hi there,

Yes I'm have the same troubles as well. I took back my Razr today to get a replacement and the replacement has the same issue. I noticed it all started to happen when the I enable the WiFi and connected it to my wireless network. I think I will be taking back the replacement tomorrow and swapping it for a Galaxy S2 as the place where I purchased  it said if it happens again that I could bring it back and exchange it  for a different brand.  I'm so disappointed as I like the look and the features.

I'm just glad I'm not the only one.

Mine just reboots whenever.  The phone was on my dining table since last night.  Came down this morning and looked at it, reboot.  I had to laugh.

I've had my RAZR for 12 days now and not seen this reboot issue at all. I love this phone. It totally amazes me. I'm doing so many neat things on it.

Got my replacement on Friday.  The phone's been working great all weekend.  I also downloaded a few apps.  No reboots (X-fingers).

So I think I did have a major lemon.

I got this Phone Dec. 21st for a Hardware Upgrade.  I totally passed up the Galaxy S II lte because LTE isn't available in the WIndsor area yet so it wasn't practical at the moment.  The phone worked for a day then started powering down on it's own.  I would find the phone off which I then had to turn on manually again.  It did this a couple of times and I had to return it for this issue.  The second phone I received after a few days as a replacement worked for a day.  I needed this phone because I was going away for NewYears Eve and I needed a phone right away and glad it arrived just in time.  On my way to Chicago, the phone worked for a couple of hours then I noticed it wasn't responding it had turned itself off once again.  This time I was pushing the power button nothing, no light nothing, it just wouldn't turn on.  Nothing I did turned the phone back on, charged it no light, plugged it into the computer USB port a white light came on, but still no response.  No matter what I did the phone simply will not turn on.  At this point I'm starting to question the reliability of this phone and my choice.  If this happens on the third phone that's it I'm going to give up and get the Samsung Galaxy SII even though it has a slightly lower resolution screen which is very disappointing for a great phone from Samsung.

Did you Google the problem? I doubt that it's a very widespread issue.
as far as screen resolution... doesn't much matter if it's higher on a phone that you can't turn on.... :-)
