I am having a ball with this thing. I just got my wife one too!   I like to get accessories from Asia off Ebay.  I have 3 extra batteries, and a wall charger.  (They all work awesome.)  I have a couple other neat things too!

Has anyone else played with the following...?

1. I was in Calgary this past weekend.  I saw 'LTE' on the screen, and freaked.  Didn't know it was available there yet.  Anyway, I tried the speedtest.net app, and got 10Mbps to 12Mbps, driving down a residential street!  Holy mother of technology!

2. I got an HDMI connector for it.  Yep, it works.  Perfect picture is mirrored on both screens.  Hold the phone vertical, you get a tall picture with black sides, looks like it should.  Turn the phone sideways, and you get glorious 720p full screen action!  Need for Speed baby!!  Sound goes through it too!!  Very cool, and like 10 bucks (shipped)  from Hong Kong!  (Requires a USB connection for power using the phones cord or whatever else.)

3. Ever hear of USB OTG, 'On the Go'?  Google it.  I noticed it in the specs, and got the connector from the same place for under a buck fifty delivered.  (It's not just an adaptor, judging from my research, it has a capacitor in it to signal the phone to switch to host mode.)  Crazy. What does it do?  Well my friend, you plug this baby into your USB port, and BAM!  You have a standard USB socket on your phone.  Plug a flash drive in!  It gets mounted under usbstorage (or something similar) in the filesystem!!!  Read and write capable!  I then thought, naw, it wouldn't, and plugged an old Microsoft USB optical mouse in.  The light came on, and it started moving a POINTER AROUND THE SCREEN!  Holy mobile!  Yes, it's very usable, although I am not sure how the Home, back, and Menu keys could be activated, but I only tried for a bit.  Still!  I read that USB keyboards work also.  Not sure if you could plug a USB keyboard with a Mouse plugged into it though.  Wait, I can try...  InSANE!  Big old Microsoft USB keyboard with a little two port hub on it, and an optical mouse plugged into THAT.  It's fully functional!  Couldn't plug a flash drive into that keyboard hub though.  No reaction.  Can you believe this phone?  I think it's because it's basically a tablet platform, with all the functionality that comes with it.  My wife got hers, and I used that cable to directly hook her old phone to it so I could restore her information from her old Android.  That worked too.  (Go Backup.)

I'm not sure how many phones do this stuff, but one thing I know.  99.5 of the people who get them are only gonna use 10% of the capability.

Wow.  Just wow!!!

Really cool stuff. Ironically, Google and Android does a very poor job of advertising features. For example, the majority of people with Android phones don't know what Voice Actions is...
I had an iPhone 3G and 3GS and I remember when Apple advertised that a "new feature" of one of the firmware updates was the ability to change the font in the memo app.... really.... that was an advertised new feature?....
I'm really enjoying the new ICS update.
