If you are on a data plan with a low limit and want to avoid overage fees, try using the Opera (mini) browser for Android or iOS. It compresses data so your web browsing will use only a fraction of the data the native browser would use. If you tend to get close to or go over your data limit, this can save you from very costly overage charges.
