 i have samsung galaxy s2 and i phone4s with family plan, i am using samsung galaxy now days my data slows down to 4g from LTE, why this is happening, sometime it performs well, but sometime its just hang to 4g and slow performence in data. iif both phones use data it effect each other's data or not? if it slowing down like dis, then what is the purpose of that am paying for fast data plan with LTE, if there is only 4g all the time.

Data performance may vary between devices and has nothing to do with your plan being shared or not. I'd be happy to review your connection internally. I'm going to send you a PM so I can get more information.

I have been noticing this too... After not seeing anything higher than 4g for a couple days i checked the network mode connection and discoverd that i was on Gsm/hspa auto rather than gsm/hspa/lte auto.

The past two times that i noticed the prolonged absence of lte, this setting issue was present.

I am not sure how/why it is changing. i am certainly not doing it. i cant replicate it yet.

If it keeps doing it, I suggest backing up the phone & doing a factory reset on the device. After this see if it happens. If this issue happens again, Contact tech support & speak to them. That should NOT change by it self.

At this point it is not a huge deal. it doesnt happen often enough to warrant a reset. i will wait for ics instead.

Hi..recently i just updated my samsung galaxy s2 lte with andriod 4.0..ics.. it was my huge mistake..does it makes warrenty void, i was thinking it makes my phone run more fast...but it makes it very slow n lagging..previous andriod version 2 ginger bread was so fast..i want it back..can rogers help me in this or wat can i do for get it back...
