This is so exciting.... from what I remember, kies usually says "this is the latest version" or something. It doesn't say that today. It just says the current version number. I hope this means the update is imminent!!

When I took my sons phone in for repairs, I asked the rep and he said May. Possibly June. That was lust Wednesday

If the update is done via Samsung Kies, exactly HOW does Rogers influence the release date? It doesn't make sense. 

Kies is owned by Samsung.

If the update was OTA then I'd believe Rogers was responsible for any delays but since it's through Kies, then Samsung (Canada) is the party responsible for any delays. 

Simple logic. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Just read on mobilesyrup.com that the update will be rolling out this week.  Not today.  Oh well.  I've been waiting for an update to see if it fixes my huuuuge bluetooth problem.  Oh well...

Do I need to enable USB Debugging under Applications > Development before plugging the USB cable into the computer to check for updates with Kies? Anyone know?
