Hey Community,

 

We all have received them before at some point. Annoying and mostly fake messages such as the following:

 

"You have just won a trip to ______ !"

"You have an issue with your device, please send your information to _____!"

"Follow this link to update your security settings ____."

 

Protecting yourself from unwanted SPAM has always been an ongoing battle for everyone. Fortunately, there is a way we can all help.

 

Users who receive any SPAM messages can now report them back to us. Simply forward the suspected SPAM message to 7726 (SPAM) and they will be audited and then blocked from the Rogers network as a whole.  This can be easily done on most devices by pressing and holding the body of the message, then press the forward button and send to 7726. No additional charges apply for using this service.
