@mahomed: It is Web-based, but can also be accessed via an e-mail client like Outlook.
However, if you don't already have a Rogers e-mail account I would not recommend getting one. There are many people on this forum who have had very negative experiences with Rogers/Yahoo. I would recommend you get a free g-mail account. In this way, if you leave Rogers you can keep your g-mail account and not bother with the hassle of changing e-mails every time you change providers.
In the instructions to setup a new email account it says to enter your 12 digit account number, but my account only has a 9 digit number.
Rogers Wireless accounts have 9 digit numbers but Rogers Cable TV / Rogers Internet accounts have 12 digit account numbers. Look at your bill, have you consolidated your wireless and cable tv and/or internet accounts? if so under your cable tv account you would see something like Ref/Reference number and a longer 12 digit number.
I believe the Email accounts are only provided with cable internet services, and possibly SOME wireless accounts that are for internet devices only ie no voice plans.
