Business Fibre internet in Residential area

Is it possible to get fibre in a residential area.

I was reading about it and its offered only in the business plans but was wondering if I can get it in a residential area.

Re: Business Fibre internet in Residential area

Rogers has FTTN (Fibre to the node) which is located near your home. Then they run RF-coax to your home, which has more than enough bandwidth for current home needs (up to 1 Gbps download or more in most areas).  Not sure why you need FTTH?

Businesses typically pay a lot more for internet than residences.
