A&E on demand no more?

Ive always received A&E and its On Demand feature.  up until this weekend.  I get A&E and several other channels through the PLUS EXTRA PACK.  all other channels I'm able to get ON Demand.  Just spent 45min with Tech 'support' and their best answer was I need the VIP Package.  Which is incorrect if you have the PLUS pack.  and no one could explain why I've always had it ON Demand until now.  Does anyone else have the PLUS pack and able to view A&E ON Demand?

I know how frustrating issues such as this can be so please allow me to clear up any confusion here. 

 

If you're receiving A&E through the Extra Plus Package, then you do not get access to On Demand content.

 

As far as an explanation as to why you've gotten it up until now, I can only break that down to luck. You were receiving a service that you were not subscribed to at no additional cost.

Rogers is very elusive when it comes to package details. if a channel is subscribed to why withhold the On Demand feature? I can find no information stating the Plus Extra Pack excludes these channels from On Demand. and of all my channels A&E is the only one effected.

Please see the following link as to why, when you subscribe to a channel, you do not have access to on-demand.  Each "way" of obtaining content is licensed separately from the content provider(s):
